If you have not locked your Black Friday plan, you are already behind, and not for the reason you think.

It is not the creative or the bids. It is the deadlines that have already quietly passed or are about to.

The calendar most sellers find out about too late

Deal submissions for Black Friday and Cyber Monday close months in advance. If you are not already in, you are running coupons and Best Deals instead, which is fine, but it is a different plan and you need to know that now.

FBA inbound cutoffs for holiday inventory are earlier than the shipping deadlines you are picturing, and receiving times stretch when every seller in the country ships at once.

Coupon and promotion approvals take days, not minutes, in November. Build them in October.

Creative and A+ updates need to be live before the traffic arrives, not during it. You cannot test a main image during peak week.

And the one nobody plans for: support capacity. A 4x traffic week means 4x the messages, the A-to-z claims, and the case work, at the exact moment your account health can least afford a lapse.

Just early, not clever

We run a single dated checklist for every client from October 1, with owners on each line. It is not clever. It is just early.

The brands who have a bad Q4 almost never have a bad strategy. They have a good strategy that arrived two weeks late.

What is the next Q4 deadline on your calendar, and do you know the date without looking?
