An app by Flagship Growth

Flagship Insights.

Flagship Insights is a reporting and analytics app for brands that sell on Amazon. It connects to your Seller Central account with your permission, turns your own sales, search, inventory and listing data into one dashboard, and gives you a short list of recommended next steps each week.

What Flagship Insights does

Most brands look at Amazon numbers in five different Seller Central reports and a spreadsheet. Flagship Insights pulls those reports together for one brand at a time and answers the questions a brand owner actually asks each week: How did sales and traffic move? Which searches are we winning and losing? Are we about to run out of stock? Which listings need work? What should we do next?

The app is built and run by Flagship Growth, an e-commerce growth agency. It is used by the brands we manage, and every brand only ever sees its own data.

How it works

  1. Request access. Flagship Insights is invite-only. Contact us and we will set up your brand and send your team an invitation.
  2. Authorize the app in Seller Central. From the app's Connections page you are sent to Amazon's own authorization screen, where you approve read access for Flagship Insights. We never ask for your Seller Central password, and you can revoke access at any time under Apps and Services → Manage Your Apps in Seller Central.
  3. We load your reports. Once authorized, the app requests your reports through the Amazon Selling Partner API on a daily schedule (and when you open your dashboard, if the data is out of date).
  4. Review your dashboard and recommendations. Your team signs in at insights.flagshipgrowth.com to see the dashboard, filter by date range, and read the latest recommendations.

Features

Each feature below uses a specific group of Selling Partner API data, named in brackets. Flagship Insights only reads data. It does not change listings, prices, inventory or ads in your account.

Sales and traffic report

[Selling Partner Insights, Inventory and Order Tracking] Ordered sales, units, orders, sessions, page views and conversion rate for your brand, by day, week or month, with any date range and a comparison to the period before. Paid versus organic sales and a trend chart show whether growth is coming from ads or from organic demand.

Inventory planning

[Inventory and Order Tracking] Fulfilled by Amazon stock per product: available, inbound, reserved and in transfer between fulfillment centers, with weeks of cover at your current sales pace. Products that will run out before a new shipment can arrive are flagged first, with a suggested quantity to send.

Account and seller performance

[Selling Partner Insights] The marketplaces your account sells in and your seller performance metrics in one place, so changes that need attention show up on your dashboard instead of being found late.

Catalog and listing tracker

[Product Listing] Every product in your catalog with its title, bullet points, images and listing status. An item tracker shows which products have had their listing copy, images and A+ content reworked and which are still to do, and flags listings with missing or incomplete content.

Pricing monitor

[Pricing] Your current price for each product and whether your offer holds the featured offer (Buy Box), so price changes and lost featured offers are visible next to the sales they affect.

Weekly recommendations

Each week the app reviews your own numbers from the features above and writes a short list of plain-English recommendations, each tied to the figures behind it, for example a product running low on stock or a search where your click share fell. Recommendations use only your brand's data.

Forecast and profit view

A monthly sales forecast compared with actual results, and a profit and loss view that combines your sales with the product costs your team enters. Your team can correct any number, and every edit is logged.

Pricing

Flagship Insights is included at no extra cost for brands on a Flagship Growth management plan. There is no separate subscription, setup fee or per-user charge, and you can invite as many team members as you need.

Flagship Growth management plans are quoted per brand after a strategy call, because the work depends on the size of the account and the channels involved; see Services. If you want Flagship Insights on its own, without management, contact us and we will quote it for your account before anything is set up. You are never charged without a signed agreement.

Support

For help with Flagship Insights, email joey@flagshipgrowth.com or use our contact form. We reply within one business day. Clients also get help through their Flagship Growth account manager.

Frequently asked questions

Which marketplaces does it support?

Amazon marketplaces where your Seller Central account sells, starting with the United States and Canada.

Can Flagship Insights change anything in my Seller Central account?

No. The app only reads reports and data. Any change to a listing, price, shipment or ad is made by your team or your Flagship Growth account manager, never by the app.

Do I need Brand Registry?

Only for the search query performance feature, because Amazon provides Brand Analytics to brand owners enrolled in Brand Registry. Every other feature works without it.

How do I disconnect?

Revoke Flagship Insights under Apps and Services → Manage Your Apps in Seller Central, or ask us to disconnect it. Your Amazon data is deleted within 30 days.
